Tomorrow the ENT Dr is going into my schnoz to straighten out my septum, remove some obscene lump growing in there, and generally repair my congenitally screwed up sinuses. The surgery is 45 minutes, and I should be completely recovered in a week if all goes as planned. They don't think the lump is anything serious, but they'll biopsy it anyway.

I got the Woodsmen heat treated last weeknd, and glued up the alternate handle blocks. So that was a lot of progress. But this weekend, and even maybe next weekend is a wash. Sorry guys.:o

No worries Andy. One of my sisters had the same thing done a few years ago.

Nothing to be "sorry" about Andy.

Best wishes on the surgery and take care of yourself after it is over.... the knives can wait till you heal. :)

Sorry to hear about your problem. I hope the lump isn't anything serious and I hope the surgery brings you some relief.

I have sinus problems all of the time so I know what that feels like. It's a pain not being able to breathe right without feeling like you have to work to get the air you need. Something as basic/essential as breathing should, ideally, come naturally.

Hope it all goes well. My martial arts instructor had something like your procedure done to repair all the broken noses he's received over the years, his is still screwed up! Hope the doctors down in your area do a better job!

Good luck bro. If you need anything, gimme a call. I'm right down the street.

The heck with the Woodsmen.

Just take it easy after that surgery. :) That's just a little too close to the brain to take lightly.

You can return to your workshop when you're 100% again.

Best wishes and best of luck.

Smoke up, Andy. Keep us posted if you need anything:thumbup:

I had a friend who had the operation done, she is 200 times better now.

Good luck bro, and I am sure you will be breathing clear in no time.

Good luck with the surgery.
We all wish you a fast recovery.
Rest up. Your reputation is for great knives not hurried knives.

Good luck getting that sniffer straightened out!

Get the doc to take pics!

This sucks. He said it wouldn't be painful. He lied.

AWWW Poor baby!!!:(

Go take your mind off it and make a knife;)

Glad your ok bro:thumbup:
