About a month ago I bought a Buck Smidgen on an impuse with an EMS gift card I had received. The Smidgen is a Hartsook without the designer steel and Blactical coating, and with a better sheath.
Anyway, this homely, insignificant little knife has somehow become my regular edc without me making any decision about it. It is just so handy and easy to carry clipped upside down to a beltloop with a carabiner. When I got it, I figured it would just languish away in a kit or glove compartment. Isn't it funny how sometimes a knife picks you, and the knife you like best isn't necessarily the one that gets used the most.
