Surprised

Hey Anthony call your doctor and have him adjust your Prozac/Paxil dosage it's way to high.:D

Idon't know how you do it, I lost a Spyderco/Viele about a year ago, and I still go nuts looking for it, but at least I hold out hope that someday it'll turn up. But to hold the broken battered remains in my hands, and know I had a hand in it's demise:(. I can't take it I'm going to take a Xanax for you:D :D .

Anthony, from knowing you back in last year threads, YOU ARE COOL man!

I recently just let go all of my balisongs, and seeing it in the hands of new owner doesn't suffocate my heart anymore.

You might have attained the non-attachment principle of Buddhism, regardless of your religious association ..

Congrats for your achievement in life.

BTW, to replace all of my balisongs, I have a CS 4" tanto and CRKT point guard (on the way) for EDC. And I AM GOING TO USE MY KNIVES ;)

Cheers!

Thanks to those who complimented me. I'm an humble guy, but even a dog likes a pat on the head:D. I honestly think that getting my Mnandi destroyed had a limited effect because it is just a knife, even if it is an expensive one, furthermore, I have a big collection of roughly equivalent (not necessarily in terms of price) knives. I would also like to note that I sent the knife back to Chris Reeve and hopefully he will tell me that it can be repaired for a reasonable sum.

I think it's all a matter of perspective. Once you have owned a bunch of more expensive knives, it no longer shocks you to pay $300 or more for a knife. At least it doesn't shock me, your mileage may vary...;) As someone above said, it's only an object not flesh and blood so you'll survive it.

I recently sold my small Sebenza to a friend and last week he brought it around. I wasn't sad to see him with it, rather I was glad to see it getting some use and I know he's wanted one for a long time. But a year ago I would have said I'd never sell that knife. Unattachment is a good thing.
