surprising movie knives

A Long Kiss Goodnight they use a Microtech Halo
Exposure there are several knives a Randall model 14 a Joe Kious sub hilt fighter
The Iron Mistress don't know who made the Bowie used in it.
Switchblade Sisters the name says it all.
I have a big collection of DVD's that have knives in them.

Just realized that in The Mummy, Brendan Fraser uses a butterfly knife to cut the scarab beetle out of John Hannah's shoulder towards the end of the movie.

In the movie "The Client" the bad guy has a ss spyderedge police also

This one stuck with me too. I remember it being much bigger and meaner than any knife oughta be.

I've since changed my feelings about knives but that Police model was pretty intimidating.

Not a movie, but you have to give props to Macgyver...serious SAK porn. When I think back that show had a huge impact on me as a kid, not only in getting me interested in knives but also in how I view knives as tools...not weapons.

In the TV show Life with Damian Lewis (Homeland) he carries a Spyderco Police. Uses it often for food prep and in an early episode he defends himself with it. Good show. Short run though.

I love the fact that some of us can pick out knives Just by seeing them used real quickly in a scene. The only ones I have noticed were in tv shows, they are the ZTs that Gibbs from NCIS carries and the busse that Daryl carries (love walking dead, now I want a tglb)

I am sure I have noticed more in movies an on TV, just can't think right now

In season 1 or 2 I've seen Lori with a grey Spyderco Endura on her belt or pocket, with the knife hanging outside iirc:rolleyes:

the busse that Daryl carries (love walking dead, now I want a tglb)

Don't know if this was mentioned in the TWD thread, but there's a brief scene in the second season during the early search for Sophia where they come across a church. As they come up the stairs to enter the church, Lori's got what looks to me like an Endura (basing that on clipping my Delica to the outside of my pocket for comparison) clipped to the outside of her pocket. It's only visible for a couple of frames as she hands the Gerber parang to Rick. Before that she'd been walking around with some kind of folding utility knife. Never saw the Spyderco again after the church scene.

Caught a Spyderco Native in Act of Valor.

I saw that too! It does show up in a few more episodes that season I think.

not a move but in ncis gibbs carries a zt 301 or 302

Yeah gibbs had a zt 301ts in an episode. The one that he stuck in the tray in the hospital room right? Anyway that was the first time I ever saw a zt and what got me to buy one.

Not a movie but i remember when i was watching Burn Notice, i saw the main character pull out an Emerson Karambit

I love in that promo pic for Sabotage, Sam Worthington is aiming down a sightless/opticless weapon.

I don't know if already mentioned, but Willem Dafoe uses a Spyderco Endura several times.

Kill Bill 2. Uma Thurman uses an old school SOG dagger I believe .

Cowboys VS Aliens. Harrison Ford has a very nice stag handled fixed. I liked it so much I researched it at the time to see if it was an actual, and not a just a random prop. Legit, from a custom maker...cant remember the name.
