I can understand that people may be a little nervous about shelling out that kind of money for something so odd from a relatively unknown maker without first getting to handle one a bit first. I edited my original post with a 30 day guarantee, so if you're on the fence don't worry. I realize that no one here on bladeforums knows me so my comments may not hold much weight but I'm going to make them anyway.

I purchased one of these knives from Edge Weaver and I have been using it for around a year now. It is OUTSTANDING! I was able to get one of the first ones he made. In fact, it has 03 engraved on it. So, I was sort of one of his "testers." I have literally abused this knife and it has taken anything I've thrown at it. Last year I did some remodeling and had to remove some carpet in my house and used this knife to cut it into pieces so I could get it out of my house. It cut through carpet with no problems. I use this knife for cutting everything and I love it! I don't know how you could be disappointed, EXCELLENT knife all the way around.
