man i can feel for you brother!
at least it dont stall! i had a montecarlo and i got a tank of ethanol added and the car stalled! worse on a RR croseing of 4 tracks!
had truck behind me push .. cost over 90$ to have the carb flushed and rebult with new needle valve and seat... was told it was common to happen if your vehical never used it before and you had acumaleated moisture/junk in the tank.. should have cut the gas line ( with a 110) and purged it when it first hestated..

Dave and Chickentrax, What you described is a common malady of ethanol. The first tank will clean all gasoline residue from inside your tank hence flushing this sludge thru the engines system and clogging injectors or carburetor and causing these problems your describing. Ethanol symptoms worsen at tempartures rise causing vapor locking as if you put H2O in your tank. This product is govt.subsidized hence no need to go up on the cost unless fueled by greed. A power and mileage decrease will be noticed so replace your fuel filters often espically on the first and second tanks.
The problems this product creates greatly out weigh the small benefit in pollutant reduction. Not withstanding causing increase food cost. These were discussing is from a straight blend method. DM

They started the Ethanol adding in Germany and stopped it again a short time later. There where a lot of Problems with cars which are getting damaged by using Ethanol. But for the topic: I could use my Diesel to drive to Post Falls, but it is too far away through Siberia and Alaska :D ;) :).

Best, Haebbie

Diesel costs more here than gasoline. At pump Wednesday - Reg Gas $3.67/gal; Diesel = $4.20/gal... :(

So the price of *everything* goes up, since trucks deliver all our goods...

Hi Chicken, I would be lucky if we have your prices for gasoline and diesel.

The German prices:
Gasoline does 8,50 $/gal and diesel 6,84 $/gal.

I am not surprised that diesel is more
expensive than gasoline in the U.S., we pay less taxes for diesel that the prices
for goods doesn't grow so high concerning the transport

Best,
Haebbie

Decaff,, I am clueless about how to do this survey. Muddled around clicking on stuff and it said I voted. On what, I have no clue.

but, I'm not going, irregardless of what any screw up on my part in the survey may have said.

Call me crazy, but I think gas prices will be down considerably by July.

:)

Rocinante, are you sure? I think the gas price will grow higher step by step. If they don't sell it in the U.S.A. or in Europe the gasoline companies sell it elsewhere in the world, may be in the far east - or not? The time is gone with the low gas price.

Best,
Haebbie

well petrol in Mexico is only 2.50 USD per gal.!
so why is it so high here?
you can buy high test 98 octain in sadi for $.35 cents a gal
ahhhh ... no gas = no food...
drink oil!

Dave, Yes, and that gas from Mexico is very much substandard to ours.
I'd bet the Sadi gas posted 98 octane would actually check out at 88 octane here. Gasoline retailers post what ever they want until they get checked.DM

most likely you are right ... but i wpould use it before i would use gas-aholl (enthnoal in gas) if i had the choice..as it is substandard gas also.. cost more and less MPG !
humm we should let them pay 8$ for a Loaf of Bread!
Cartel control on FOOD like they have
cartel control on OIL..
