man i can feel for you brother!
at least it dont stall! i had a montecarlo and i got a tank of ethanol added and the car stalled! worse on a RR croseing of 4 tracks!
had truck behind me push .. cost over 90$ to have the carb flushed and rebult with new needle valve and seat... was told it was common to happen if your vehical never used it before and you had acumaleated moisture/junk in the tank.. should have cut the gas line ( with a 110) and purged it when it first hestated..
Dave and Chickentrax, What you described is a common malady of ethanol. The first tank will clean all gasoline residue from inside your tank hence flushing this sludge thru the engines system and clogging injectors or carburetor and causing these problems your describing. Ethanol symptoms worsen at tempartures rise causing vapor locking as if you put H2O in your tank. This product is govt.subsidized hence no need to go up on the cost unless fueled by greed. A power and mileage decrease will be noticed so replace your fuel filters often espically on the first and second tanks.
The problems this product creates greatly out weigh the small benefit in pollutant reduction. Not withstanding causing increase food cost. These were discussing is from a straight blend method. DM
