We are a team of graduate students at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington conducting market research for a possible new knife/line of knives for Chris Reeve Knives, as well as the ‘ideal’ fixed blade, military-style knife. We have been working directly with CRK and will present our findings to them in June of 2016 in the hopes that it will help guide their decision making process.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete . We thank you for your time and input. Your feedback is invaluable! CRK is looking forward to hearing from YOU.

This survey is optimized for desktop or tablet computers. It will work on mobile devices, however for the best experience we suggest using a desktop or tablet computer.

Done.

I'll bet they figure out who I am by my response to the last question. :o

In case anyone has reservations..The survey is sanctioned by Anne Reeve and they have prior permission to post it.
There is another survey request in General Knife Discussion that I believe is the exact same survey.

I have also participated. :)

The thread is now stickied- When done, it will disappear to the depths :)

Got the email today. Will definitely share my thoughts. Doesn't matter to me if they figure out who I am.....lol.

I assume this was the follow up to the scheduled phone they gave me a head up to look for? I hope I get what I wished for!
:D

Thank You.
I wonder if we will see some kind of result - a summary.
But then it was nice to dream up all those options you ever wanted in that dream Sebenza!

Completed. I asked for the large regular sebenza and the one piece knives back. Also asked for a non serrated pacific and kitchen paring knives to match my 2 sikayu. They will know who I am just by my answers. Especially since Anne has helped me soooooo many times in the past when putting the CRK Timeline together. Cant wait to see what they come up with. Lets hope we get our wishes. I just want them to retain CRK Quality, thats what I pay for.

Done, kinda nervous about this "adventure" line...
Ditto. That one question about added features is very worrying. I can not picture and would never buy a CRK with Gerber/bear grylls type gimmicks like firestarter, emergency signal, etc.

Instead, as a backpacker, I would be all over this if they make it durable, and most importantly lightweight, with upgraded steel like S110V or 3V.

I agree. Seems like a line of lesser quality knives. I stated that I buy CRK because of their quality and Customer Service over other brands like Hinderer and strider. I don't want lesser quality. A perfect field knife would be simply a non serrated pacific. A return of the OPK and Regular sebenza is what I want.

Completed survey...

Suggested return of OPK line, Annual Sebenzas, larger Inkosi and keep production in the USA.
