I’m surprised that more people don’t prefer having no liners/minimal liners, when we’ve seen that very tough folders can be made without them. Many of Cold Steel’s toughest folders are linerless, for example, as well as the older Salt series from Spyderco. Linerless=easier to clean, no corrosion, lighter, etc.

That was my exact thought, too. I'm actually rather disappointed in those results, being a fan of linerless FRN and FRCP, and valuing tough, lightweight knives.
