Hey everyone,

I was reading so many posts on here, and I came to one conclusion. I would never spam out in the wild. I just wouldn't be able to remember all the valuable information needed for outdoor spamming. I would end up spamming the wrong berries. Not knowing how to spamify water. Spamming an animal. I would be spamless (and so would this forum). But I did want to let you guys know about this show "I Spammed" on the SPAM channel. The shows is a real-life series featuring people who have overcome extreme spammings -- there's this one episode where a guy got spammed in snow and encountered hypothermia and frostbite, plus an overloaded email inbox, yet still managed to spam all on his own, lacking the proper spamming equipment. Now tell me that isn't spam at its best. I'm currently spamming with SPAM to get the word out about this inspiring program "I Spammed", it airs on Spamdays @ Spam o'clock EST. Check out http://www.spam.tv.

Are you going to watch? Or did any of you watch it?

Felicia,

Welcome to the board. I'm sure you'd do fine.

We don't get that one here in Brazil but I'll keep my eyes open for it. It is interesting to me how many shows there are now with a wilderness survival theme. Could it be that we have been cool all this time just waiting to be discovered? Mac

I'm currently working with Bio to get the word out about this inspiring program "I Survived", it airs on Mondays @ 9PM EST. Check out http://www.bio.tv.

If you're here for more than just this post, then welcome to the forums. Otherwise this smells like spam to me.

Im gunna wait n see , its a could be they come back again and participate , not everyone kicks off knowing what is and isnt OK to post about ...

then again ...

so Im gunna wait n see :)

Maybe. Brian's ok with it for now, so we'll see. I personally don't have television anymore, so I remain completely unaffected :D.

I watched part of an episode. Not really the kind of survival stories that this kind of forum seeks.

Woman survives a horrific rape.

people Survive a sinking ferry.

Guy gets knifed by a psycho and survives.

This is a Wilderness and Survival skills forum.

Nice attempt at viral marketing though.

I didn't know we had comercials for threads, if they come back I retract but doubt I need to.

They aren't how-to type shows like we might expect from Les Stroud, etc. But they are survivor stories in a truest sense. Most folks who face a survival situation won't get to choose the parameters of their situation, but rather, will have the situation thrust upon them.

The presentation, however, looks more like something my Mom would watch, not me. The production seems like fairly generic television reality pablum. I appreciate the heads-up anyway.

Ok, I was letting it slide to see, but looks like spam to me, too. Time for a banning!
