Survival Axe VS Bushcraft Axe

I'm curious, with all those axes in your collection which are your favorite users and why? Do you have a favorite splitter? Feller?

Square, glad you asked, as I myself have been wondering lately as to what/how/when to narrow down the users, keepers, and to sell the rest.

Recently(this past winter till now) I had the following arrangement -

Single Bit - BMC Black Donald 36 inch 4 lb dayton, TT Flint Edge 36 inch maul handle thinned down, 3.5 lb head.

Double Bit - TT Kelly Perfect - 36 inch handle

Maul - Monster Maul, and a 12 lb maul I got from northern tool, unknown name, more than likely a china job.

Hatchet - old beater hatchet, unknown, and then GB wildlife hatchet (I think it is the wildlife anyway)

Boys axe - GB SFA, BMC Black Donald (yes I use it even when the chore will allow a boys axe to do the job)

So I had too much going on here, too many to account for. So, as of this weekend, the new simplified lineup of users is -

Sb - BMC Black Donald

Db - TT Kelly Perfect

Maul - Monster Maul

Boys/Hatchet - Council Velvicut 22 inch (pic below, and sorry Memphis, it is 22, 22.5, not 20 inch, my fault)

These 4 should do whatever I need an axe to do, simple, etc. With that, I am unloading my GB felling axe, GB SFA, and GB hatchet, Concil jersey on 36 inch handle, and some other ones. Too much upkeep for what I can do with 3 axes. The other 350 will go on the wall lol.

Nice simple list. I like it.

This has given me an idea. I think I'll start a thread about axe sets. A 'show me your kit' thread.

FYI: Thanks for all the responses. I read them all. Appreciate it.

I've decided to go with a Gransfor Bruks Small Forest Axe.
With a 19" handle, it's not too big and bigger than a hatchet.
And that gives me more options for negligible weight gains.
