survival blade/bushcraft. ESEE 4 Vs. Enzo Trapper

Werd I'm thinking about getting one of these as opposed to my esee 4 for the same reasons that were stated. This thread was helpful

I have and use an Enzo Trapper
an excellent bushcraft knife
but the zero grind Scandi will not take abuse as a survival knife

I bet the guy has bought and sold both of them by now.

I'd take the Enzo. Higher quality knife. Both will handle the jobs though.

Another happy Spyderco Bushcraft owner here. I looked at many different knives before choosing the Spydie, amongst which the Enzo, Esee and F1 just to name a few, but all the positive comments about the Spydie's comfy handle won me over eventually. My only downside is that's it a bit heavy imo. Love the sheath btw.

Just too comment on the people that keep whining that it is made in Taiwan, so is the Enzo. Rumour has it that both Spyderco and Enzo knives come from the same Taiwanese factory even

I also own an Enzo btw, just not the Trapper but a Birk 75. Great fit and finish and an awesome little knife, it's my fav folding knife at the moment.

Just got the scandi trapper in O1. I've only used it for carving soft wood so far, but IMO it does a much better job of carving than the Esee 4. The handle on the Trapper is also much more comfortable--more rounded. I love my Esee and take it with me every camping/backpacking trip, and I've got no worries about banging it around if that's what I'm in the mood for, but the Trapper just feels better in the hand and carves better.
