I received several items that I consider part of my "survival equipment."
1) Wilderness Survival by our very own Greg Davenport! Excellent read! I highly recommend it.
2) Bushcraft by Mors L. Kochanski another excellent book, but focused on primitive living in northern woodlands.
3) HAMMOCK: this will go into one of my survival kits for use in the woods.
4) Insulate gloves AND fingerless mittens. I'll mainly use these for hunting, but that's when I predict my survival skills may come in need!
My parents gave me a Survival Kit in a can..
You know one of those SAS sardine cans..
Looks pretty generic but nice non the less...
My Wife gave me a knife (God Bless This Woman)
It's a TOPS Wolf Pup ordered from Ron...
Looking much forward to it!
ttyle Eric...

Nothing special just the Cold Steel Master Hunter that I got from Staba-San from Finland
(Staffan) to prove that Santa Claus was comming from Finland. After 2+ hours on my Lansky Diamond hone set I now have a scarry sharp master hunter (using the 25 degree angle). I cut up loads of cardboard boxes (from supprises and presents) and it still drops my arm hairs at first touch
.
It's also a nice size to carry.
Cheers, Bagheera
