Survival / General use folder: Advice & Opinions ??

Don't rule out one of the larger SAKs. The Rucksack, and the new one-handed model would be good choices for companions to your hatchet.
Oh yeah, the Sebenza is pretty good too.:)

Hard to go wrong with one of the CS Voyagers; they're light, tough, hold an edge well and are relatively easy to resharpen, compared to other stainless alloys.

Yep cheers guys, I think i'm deffiently going to grab a sharp maker to replace my lansky system. Seems all i'm hearing is good stuff about it so i may as well. futher more it seems actually practical to carry around as appose to the lansky.


I'm edging (no pun intended) towards the plain edge atm, simply because of the versatility but would still like to hear arguments for and against :)
