Survival hat

I have a Filson and an outback hat for cold weather, but have gotten along really well with an REI Tilley style hat. Breathable too.

someone posted up a boonie hat they secreted an Esse arrow head amongst a pretty decent length of a paracord- that would probably qualify as a "survival" hat

If you wear BDU's regularly into the woods, then this is a fine solution. :thumbup: It would probably also fit folded into the back pocket of jeans.

Or..... one of those could double as a hat

I wear a baseball cap. I know they are looked down upon, but I have yet to find another hat, except my cowboy hat, that fits comfortably enough to be worn in the woods.
