Survival Keychain

Yep, Cricket is plain edge with a really wicked S shaped blade. She's not really a knife person, but thought it was useful. A couple of her colleagues have been a bit intimidated by it - remember this is Britain and it's a *gasp* lock knife.

I'll have to check out the Tuff Lite.

This is always a fun subject to think about, though I haven't completely decided about how useful this thing would be.

Fun, yes. As far as usefulness goes, it's better than nothing. A full-on survival kit would be too bulky to carry into the office. It would be noticeable and I don't want questions or raised eyebrows. To the average office worker, "survival" means Rambo. Best to go under the radar.

I can carry my keychain inobtrusively in my coat pocket and have it nearby at all times.

I've recently added to my list a small tube of Superglue for EDC and for survival kit. Great for attaching things of course, but also great for first aid. Nothing like Superglue to patch up a cut quickly and securely.

Wasn't superglue designed for that purpose originally?
