Ok, Here's the deal:

Tony obviously won. I'm shipping him a pink pre-production Izula (no sheath), and a piece of RAT history: a Bill Siegle prototype that he did for RAT a long time ago.

WolfSurvival made a good showing in the voting also, so I think he deserves something as well. I have a desert tan pre-production Izula(no sheath) that we used slightly in the jungle so it does have some wear on it, but it is good-to-go.

As of this post no more votes will be counted. We will leave this thread open for discussion though.
 
If either of you guys need a sheath, lemme know. I have a couple done. They cost $18 including shipping. They're going to be very similar to the Izula prototype sheaths if anyone remembers those. Don't worry, they are specifically molded for the pre-production Izula not the protos so they'll fit like a glove. Anyways, lemme know. By the way, I'll extend this to anyone who gets one of the pre-production Izulas. :thumbup:

:mad: Rubbing it in with the pics huh. Like most on here I have been waiting very impatiently for the Izula to come out. Having a chance to win one was awesome. But I'm a soar loser. I'm sure you will enjoy it. But damn I wanted one. Oh well... just keep waiting, they will be out sooner or later.
 
I tell you what...since jawilder, mayor22, taurn and tyrantblade all took the time to build a kit around a RAT knife, I think they need an Izula also. I don't have any more to send out right now but remind me when we start shipping the production models and yall will get one also.
 
That would be awesome. But I mean it was a compatition. You had rules out and that is the way it goes. I mean those guys got the votes. People liked their kits. But with that said it is your buisness. You can do what ever you want. Not like I would turn it down or anything..:D
 
Tony won, fair and square and he gets the special prize of the Bill Seigle prototype plus a pink Izula (cord wrapped in orange at that). I think it's fair to send out samples to every one else who actually put out some effort to enter the competition. We probably have a lot of folks saying "Now I wished I would have entered!"

If yall haven't noticed, RAT Cutlery is more than just knives. We consider those on this forum a family. We don't get upset if someone doesn't like a particular design or idea that we market, like some manufacturers and makers do. The whole point of RAT Cutlery is to interact with those who go and do, pick their brains, and do our best to bring better things to market that may help save a life or make a life easier. That's why we have these competitions and why we give away so many knives. RAT Cutlery is truly a social and survival experiment that has become a business. We don't ever want to lose the ability to interact with the user.

Well RAT is a top of the line Company. I have been running a RC 3 for an EDC for a while now. It is awesome. It is the offical knife for my team. Can't wait to get our team logo on one of them. With that said you all are awesome. I am on here everday just to see what is going on with your RAT family. So thanks again.
 
wow... I am beyond words on how great this place is. I have never met a company that cares this much about us!! And the interaction! Simply amazing!!

Congrats Tony that was a cool kit design , heck everybody had cool kits.. Thanks to everybody that voted and participated as well, Again excellent Idea Jeff look forward to the next contest…

I know my wife is going to laugh at my pink knife... but I don't care, I'll just hit her with my purse, i mean BOB :)
