Survival Knife Help (also machete and hatchet)

Big Knife/Small Knife/Machete First of all I drive a Hyundai Elantra at the moment so I can easily see myself getting stuck somewhere and needing to get out and walk. Depending on where I go there is always the chance of running into cops and having them confiscate the machete (legally or not, they probably just don't want people walking ) while I'm on foot and that way I'll have some back ups.

With all due respect, I think you might need to rethink this bugging out plan from the ground up. If it is built on a car that you are expecting to fail you, you got a bigger problem than "Should I take a machete or a folding saw?"

And these cops? If they take your machete, they are going to take your hatchet and all your other multiple knives. The LEOs will mean you are back in some sort of organized society, and bug out over. They are going to direct you to the nearest gathering area. Next stop, high school football field with Red Cross and National Guard.
