Surviving out in the wild can prove to be one of the toughest things you will ever do in your life. It would be even harder, without the right gear. A right survival knife is one of the most important pieces of gear that you are going to need to acquire, in order to make it out in the wild. There is a lot that you can do with the correct knife. However, you first need to know how to choose the best survival knife for your needs. You will need to take the time to read reviews that are often left by the consumers, so you will have an idea of how the knife will work for you.

Hi. Welcome to the forums.
You may have noticed from the web address and forum name that some of us are interested in knives. It stands to reason that a few of us also know a little bit.

Rather than make your first post about talking at us like you're an expert or teacher, why not just introduce yourself? Tell us what you're about. Get involved in discussions.

Stick around. You'll learn some stuff and you might enjoy yourself; )

Hmmm. If I click on that link, will the 'reviews' tell me which knife is best for opening tins of spam?

Well, the "reviews" aren't worth much at all and the site's full of amazon referral links. :barf:

Don't spam tins usually have pop tops anyway? No need to bring a perfectly respectable knife into this. ;)

found this on his website

Very intriguing and helpful review.

For those unwilling to click the link or read the info found therein, the winner is smatchet or batoning.
