Hello guys,
here is new one fresh from workshop, I don't have a name for it yet.
Here is bit of story about design:
- since my dad helps me sometimes in workshop, he once said: "when will you make something that I can hold comfortably with gloves on?", he has huge hands, so I said that I will design the blade and he the handle, and this is what we came up with
. It was nice project we did together.
Steel: 80crv2
Thickness: 6.2 mm (1/4")
Overall length: 31 cm (12.2")
Blade length: 18 cm (7")
Width at ricasso: 4.8 cm (1.88")
Handle material: Desert ironwood and stabilized ebony wood with black fiber liners, and yellow and black fiber spacers
Brass pins and tube
Forged texture and finish on flats, hand rubbed satin finish on bevel
SOLD

Thanks for looking!
