I had a Fallkniven S1 Forest knife and i loved that blade. May be a little short for your liking but man it was a horse of a knife! The price is also out of range as well. Just my 2 cents.
i really like my s1 and would definitely recommend it over the bk-7 if southern14 can swing the higher price...the other knives i've owned or tried in the past are the esee-4 & 6, becker bk-7 & bk-10 and i think the s1 beats them all as an all-around hard-use knife. i had an f1 before it but the handle was too small and the lanyard hole was directly under my pinky finger which was really annoying.
the handle material is amazing in the wet too - it seems like it grips even better when wet, definitely way grippier than micarta or g10. the spine works great as a firesteel striker too.
i like how the whole thing is very low-profile. here you can barely see it under my right armpit (i'm a lefty so it's setup for cross-draw) hanging on the hpg kit bag...while hiking i can't even tell it's there...i think it's in my top-5 most used knives by now.
