I'm cleaning up some of my gear and put together a couple small survival necklaces and a keychain with quality components. This will cover some important essentials that you should always carry in a compact and light weight form.
Sold pending funds Necklace #1:
Weight is just 2.1oz/60g.
Components:
Bootlace lanyard:
Forms the necklace, could be used for improvising/repairs, fire bow, tinder, or.. a spare bootlace!
Zipper pull whistle:
Loud and shrill signaling device. Also forms a break-away for the necklace-- I don't like knotted line around my neck.
Light My Fire mini firesteel:
Waterproof, effective fire starter. Can also be used for night-time signaling. I can include the factory scraper if you like.
Spy capsule:
Waterproof storage, includes 3 Tinder Quick tabs.
Victorinox Classic knife:
Knife blade, firesteel scraper, scissors, nail file, tweezers, toothpick, screwdriver.
Inova micro LED light:
Light source has high/low/flash modes, batteries can be changed without tools.
Silva Nexus 40 compass:
The smallest high quality compass I've found-- it is the size of my thumbnail. Liquid filled, with easy to control motion. Luminous card too.
Condition: the light has a bit of time on it-- not much. The knife has has light use and has some normal pocket wear-- very light scratches on the scales. The rest are new.

Components:
Orange paracord jacket lanyard:
Forms the necklace, could be used for improvising/repairs, fire bow, tinder. This is made of the outer jacket from 550 paracord-- light and easy on the skin. There is a mini-buckle breakaway.
ACR whistle:
Loud and shrill signaling device.
Spy capsule with firesteel:
This is my own concoction, using a large spy capsule with a ferrocerium rod expoxied to the side. There are 4 Tinder Quick tabs in the capsule. The capsule is long enough for matches too. A light My Fire scraper is included.

Knife blade, firesteel scraper, scissors, nail file, tweezers, toothpick, screwdriver.

Wire gate anodized aluminum claw keyring:
Allows removing the compass to get it away from the ferrous metals in the other components. Looks techy

Princeton Tec Pilot LED light:
White LED. Runs 12-14 hours on fresh batteries. Can be mounted on a strap and removed with a twist. 2 modes: continuous or flashing.
Brunton key ring compass:
Tiny and light liquid filled backup compass. The ring is brass so it won't throw the bearings off.

Aluminum, light as a feather and louder than my mother in law in a dither
