You may know, after having visited the website, that John McCann wrote the book Build the Perfect Survival Kit two or so years ago, and enjoys a good reputation in the survival/preparedness community.
 
I just took a quick look - great looking selection of gear which is not only essential in the woods, but I think a lot of it is a must-have in a built-up urban environment where the local grid is prone to getting sick. Thanks!
