Just thought I post a few pictures of some of shelters I constructed during one of my survival courses.

Wow, Myakka. Have any comments on how you liked the brush hut? Such as:
Was it warm? Did mosquitos bother you inside it? How much effort was it to make and what tools did you use to make it with?

Both natural shelters were very warm, the only tool I had was my 4" Roger Linger Bushcraft knife . I used mostly fallen logs and branches, but a few times I battoned and chipped the blade through some smaller trees.

Bugs really weren't a problem the weather was cool at night.
