Survival skils tested

Someone else posted this a while back, and I think at least once more before that. It's still funny though. At least texastonydobbs was upfront in saying it was in an e-mail he got. I think the last person to post it tried to pass it off as his own.

My sister sold a horse to a younger girl and her folks when I was a small boy. The girl tied herself to the horse with a rope around her waist, the horse spooked, and drug her to death through some farm implements in the pasture.
Not a good idea to tie yourself to an animal.

In general, though, I have found that having any animal on a rope is not an ideal situation. It is much preferable to avoid using ropes on animals unless that's one of your last options. I much prefer rifles to ropes.

Sitting in the office I laughed so hard that people started coming up to me asking what was so freaking funny. Great story!

I remember Fox used to have some crazy video show, and there was one clip of a guy getting pummelled by a big buck. Best to stick to a rifle and some distance I think...
 
Read an (actual) news story a few years back about a guy that got killed by a deer he had shot. Apparently it wasn't dead yet, and decided to kick him. A hoof to the chest is bad news.
 
Great story, I could see it unfold as I read the text.

But there is a lesson here.

Don’t underestimate a wild animal, even a small animal like a raccoon or a possum can kick your ass, that guy was lucky be didn’t tangle with a buck; their called WILD ANAMALS for a reason.
 
Next time you turn on your thinking organ grab you video camera so we can crap our pants laughing. Very funny story. What part of "wild animal" didn't you understand?

that getting on a branch in a loin cloth and a Cold Steel Trailmaster was a good idea too.When the doe passed he pounced on it or should I say fell next to it
the deer freaked out DJ freaked out,the deer proceeded to try and get away by stomping on him repeatably until she was sure she was safe.
He even tried to grab it around the neck but apparently they don't like that.
