Survival Sub Hilt Integral

I'm not usually a fan of sub-hilts, but that is utterly amazing. What's the spine thickness on the blade itself?

You've just raised the bar in constructing integrals. While most of your knives are any thing but simple in appearance, there's a simplicity in the look of this one despite the complex construction that you used. I hope that made sense, otherwise all I can say is wow!

Alex, congratulations! You've got an amazing knife.

Greetings, awesome work all round, and major kudos on the craftsmanship. However, just with regards to design. I'm not sure if a fighter style blade is appropriate on a 'survival' knife. 'Survival' can mean many things but short of a zombie apocalypse to my mind most survival type situations would benefit from a knife that will chop easily, so I feel a 'top heavy' bolo or kukri type blade profile would be more appropriate.

Claudio, this one is fabulous. I'm very partial to subhilts and the integral build is awesome, especially with the addition of 'survival' features!! Very nice!!

Hello!

Claudio's masterpiece arrived some time ago, but since I am still enjoying my holiday break I did not have a chance to take it to the studio yet. Anyways, I managed to get a quick snap at home today, better images that really do it justice will follow.
