Rovert,
As far as the other knives on your list, I can't comment intelligently in terms of features v. uses. The only one I've played with a little is the Reeves (his largest fixed blade). Others I know and respect love CR blades for the woods.
A great BOB back-up would be a solid multi-tool. I use the Leatherman Wave. The various things you can do with that piece are endless, and the saw can work if you lose your chopper blade. For tactical reasons in a TEOTWAWKI scneraio, the saw is quieter than chopping, anyway. The file on it has a diamond side which can serve as an emergency blade sharpener. If you lost your chopper, this tool would serve your survival functions very well, but obviously not your tactical/fighting needs so well.
If you are inclined towards a solid folder, we equally abused a TOPS CQT Magnum (the one with the hunters point blade, smooth edge). It is a liner lock, but we beat the hell out of it on the spine and no failure. We pryed things, scored bone, cleaned squirrels and even did some light chopping with it. We all agreed unanimously that it could serve almost any fixed blade type function, but folds into a compact package (like any folder). The design has no clip, and a big handle, designed for use with gloves on (still very comfortable with gloves off, though), a 4.75" blade. The pin in it is thicker than most knives, and the liner is thicker and more stout. It's made of 154 CM I believe...
All the Best,
Brian.
