  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Survive!, How Is Idaho treating you!?

I spent two weeks this summer in Idaho, scouting a possible move there. Spent time in Boise (too big), Lewiston (too stinky from the paper mill), and Moscow (loved it).
Coeur d'Alene, just up north of Moscow, was beautiful. Wife's a bit skeptical of the cold winters, but experiencing the 4 seasons, mountains, relaxed gun laws is what I'm after.

It is definitely growing in the CdA area. There is a pass between here and there though, so the sprawl isn't heading this direction.

Yeah, travel across I-90 this time of year......I can definitely see that putting a damper on a lot of people. I was thinking more toward Coeur d' Alene. I grew up about 30 miles south of there and certainly notice the growth when I go back now. Lake Coeur d' Alene is still just as beautiful, though. :) Glad to hear Kellogg is escaping some of it.
