When I submitted my original post on Survive Knives, I expressed my opinion. I was under the impression that there was no guaranteed delivery. However, the website said that after production starts it typically takes 3 to 6 months. I support US companies that produce good products. I have ordered plenty of knives and waited for months. Busse, Blind Horse, Dozier, etc. Waiting is not an issue up to a point. When I entered the Starter Program I did it to help finance a startup US company. I have ordered many knives over the years but until now, I never paid up front. I recently ordered a sheath from Mashed Cat sheaths. I had a question, emailed them and had a reply THAT DAY! Survive does not answer emails in a timely manner. When you pay up front to help finance equip. it seems like you should get a timely reply. Over 10 days is not acceptable in my view. But that is my view. When Survive put out their newsletter in Dec. 2015 they said they hoped to get people their knives by Christmas. I was expecting it around that time or by Jan.2016. I know that some people don't mind waiting over a year for a knife. I must have misunderstood their wait time. It wouldn't bother me as much if I had not paid in advance. Once again their website states 3-6 months after production starts. Not a year or longer. My mistake. Lesson learned.
