As the title states, up for trade is a GSO 4.7, in CPM 3V.

Knife is new and a factory first
Black Canvas Micarta Handle material
Black Kydex Sheath

Comes in original box as well.

looking to trade for a GSO 6 or GSO 5
(new or used, no firesteel notch, handle material not terribly important)

Possibly trade for other fixed blade 5" to 6" range. Please PM picture or post in this thread. thanks.

Not interested in any Blind Horse or Battle Horse knives, any Busse or Busse kin.

I have a CFV 4.7 second on order and don't need two of these.

I picked up a Battle Horse Knives Highlander 1 from a forum member about a month ago. Very nice knife - really great blade, but the handle doesn't suit my hand well.

Here are the specs:

Overall Length: 10-1/8"
Blade Length: 5-1/2"
Sharpened Length: 5"
Handle Length: 4-5/8"
3/16" thick, O1 Steel.
Brown micarta handle with lime green spacers
Kydex sheath with leather backer (with firesteel loop, but no firesteel is included).

Pic below. It has the start of a decent patina on it now. Pic is from a month ago.

I don't have any i interest in Blind Horse or Battle Horse Knives. Like you, I have issues with the handles...too narrow and rounded. Thanks.

Exactly. I don't mind the rounded shape, but the handle diameter near the blade is just too darn thin for my hand to grip.

You nailed it. I love the blade profile of the BHK highlander and the scout platoon, but those thin broomstick type handles make it tough to control the blade.
