I bought this as a new factory first from an online retailer out of Frederick, MD. It has been used very little. It has never been sharpened and the factory edge is still very sharp. The handle is green micarta and comes with a green kydex sheath. The knife came new with a few very light scratches probably from the sheath. They are very hard to see however, they are there if you look.
