That was a good price.
Instead of paying for a GSO-12 6.5 years ago, if I'd put the money in an S&P500 tracker index and then bought this, I'd be a few hundred dollars up, and actually have a GSO-12.

The original pre-order was around March/April 2015.
I was told that mine was one of the first pre-orders, so it should be ready in a couple of weeks. That was 4 months ago.

Absolutely ridiculous. I’m excited for this one, as I love 3V and I love bolos, but 7 years...

You could start a workshop and learn how to make your own 3V choppers in that amount of time

And we ordered the same handle scales!

This may be the only Survive! knife I actually keep (if and when I receive it). I've sold others off after getting them years later, as I just had no need any more. After the GSO-12, I still have a GSO-8 on order which I hope will arrive some time next year (but hey, who knows?). That will go straight on the chopping block - sure it'll be a good knife, but I've picked up a bunch of INFI in that size range since 2015.
