Well with the wonderful storm passing through:rolleyes:, I am having a really slow day at work. So I decided to keep busy:D

Luckily I had my New HWK with me to keep me company!!

I found some oak trim in the back room and had a lil fun;)

It made great fuzzies!

Then a lil something more detailed

And the I figured I would check out how easy it was to do some controlled cutting..

This is my first attempt at a spoon. Next time I will try some softer wood, but hey it will work....

I really like this knife. It was comfortable in many grips and no hot spots developed while using it. It cut great!!!!!

The edge held up awesome. Can't shave anymore(I never really care about that) but it still cuts very clean!

So a good day at work, I guess.....

Cool stuff!

I'm not surviving work today. On top of it being busy, my wife called to let me know a package arrived for me at home.

How am I supposed to function when there is a piece of Koster goodness waiting for me at home?!?!

:p

I want your job!!! Man..I need to get an indoor job...I am getting to old to put on the toolbags everyday.....OK..whining over:D

While your pics are helping me to cope until my HWK is done, they are also rubbing salt in the wound! :p I really like that knife

i love that blue handle and i usually dont like anything that isnt earth tone.i imagine its blue G10??

That knife is badass ... definitely diggin the blue handles gives it a very unique look.

Good stuff

Now that is the way to work at work LOL If you can not have fun at work then it is time for a new job. LOL

I love the blue handles!!!! Great looking knife!!!!

By the way, that is the best looking figure 4 I have ever seen. Mine normally look like a four year old tried to make it!:)

The other day I saw Tony walking aroud town and I almost didn't recognize him as he did not have a band-aid on. :D

When I get bored at work I usually start sticking needles into patients veins.

Tony, what is thickness of your HWK? Hazard's original was 1/8". Many seem to be 3/16". Yours seems thicker than 1/8".

3/16ths sounds about right. It is tapered down perfectly to a very thin razors edge though!
