For sale: Deluxe Survivor #2 W/sawback, in brown folding Kydex handle and neck sheath.

This handle does not lock, but adds lots of leverage for cutting and slashing, is very strong, without the weight of a metal handle. By flipping it over and placing the thumb on the finger groove area of the blade, you can use the saw blade with a pulling motion for 1" deep cuts. Blade can still be removed for spear tip use.

Blade Material: S30V hand rubbed 58-59RC
Blade length: 4" including part under the handle, 2" of cutting edge, 1 1/4" of saw teeth.
Marked with Ghostmakers mark.
fine gripper cuts for traction.
Kydex Brown fold over handle .08 thick, Brown sheath.

Price: $75.00 + shipping
PayPal only

Hi Mike,

A valid concern...I have tested it to the limit I think fare for a personal tool and had no problem. Remember I have been using a knife for 40 years in this capacity. Carving pine and aged oak seemed to have no effect. I would feel safe saying I could skin and take the meat off a dozen deer with little or no change. I wont be splitting logs or prying hub caps with it...lol But I could saw branches and vines, split kindling, and use it to build a shelter and a fire if I had too. Can't eat a bowl of soup with it though...lol

Also dipping it in boiling water will give you the ability to mold it to a different shape! Like around a stick! Then back!

I almost purchased the knife this morning, do you plan on making more? Is it possible to use the knife in the closed position?

I will be making a few more, I will be glad to make one for you... by placing your thumb on the back of blade up front, it is possible to use it closed for small chores.
