Laugh my a-- off- just watching Les in Africa. "Beats squeezing water out of elephant dung!" when getting water from a dirty source!!
Is this the first time any of the survival shows have mentioned each other (even if not directly).
Had to post it.

I believe that Survivorman episode was aired before the Man v. Wild one where Bear gets water from elephant dung.
 
Sorry- no link I was just watching it on Outdoor network this afternoon and heard what Les said (with a straight face too). I will watch Bear if it is on and I am alone but can't pay attention too much.

I assumed it was a new Survivorman as the station said new Season 2 was on last night and it was the same episode today.

What did Les say? I watched all of Survivorman season 2 and don't recall.

i think they have producers that share notes cause there is the one were bear drinks his urine from his canteen and the one where les say this is the proper way to drink your pee cause there are toxins in it . so les diggs a pit and puts plastic over it with a cup in the middle to catch the distiled water.
