This coming from a 17year old metrosexual boy:
"I think the hardest part was missing out on just hanging out with my friends and stuff and Facebook is definitely a big part of hanging out with my friends."
"(And) not having my shoes," he adds later. "My clothes have to match my shoes and like, we were wearing all like tan and it was not a good look. That was the toughest."
Kids really scare the hell out of me. This being a post interview - the little goof clearly didn't get anything out of the experience. Obviously, as alluded by Les' comments, this kid was there just to get himself on TV.
Based on the number of quotes provided - my gut tells me that the Princess was the only survivor - I could be wrong...But it sounds like the kind of feel good sorry they were looking for. Adam was probably thrown off for stealing someone else's clothes because they had colour in them.
I really like the fact that the goals of the show were not tarnished by overblown prizes and stupid social games. I'll give the kids credit for this - they walked into the situation knowing it wasn't all about a door prize. Too bad they didn't all walk away with a little more maturity and learning about themselves. It sounds like some of them did.
