Swamp rat ? Busse?

That makes sense... I typically store Mt knives in my gun safe, is there some kind of oil y'all recommend for keeping the blades from rust? I haven't had much of an issue but I can see a little surface discoloration on the edge of my esse6 and some patina on my chopweiler. Think it's worth polishing them up and protecting somehow?

Plain mineral oil or Ballistol, both are food safe.

I have to agree in part, anybody can make them indeed. That said, in my experience that does not mean you will get great functioning results. I would go so far as to say out of all the different makes of kydex I've used, including home-brewed and such, there may only be a few people making kydex that I'd really recommend to others for serious uses. If you're happy with 'good enough' sort of fit and function, then go ahead and try your hand at rolling your own.
I will probably have my sheaths made...it sounds and looks like buy brown is the way to go, I have had some kydex I wasn't real happy with in the past, so for the money spent on busse I would like a nice reliable sheath... I may buy some kydex to play with for some smaller knives and see what happens🤷🏼‍♂️

TThOs

I was checking out your website, they all look amazing... I am getting ready to order a busse hell razor 2 also and thought maybe i could order both sheaths at the same time... How does this work, do I need to send knives in or do you have them available for the molding of kydex?
Thank you for checking me out and thank you to my friends who recommended me.

I have over 200 in house knives so I can help you out with both blades.

Now Can you make your own sheath ? I am sure you can. ( I heard anyone can, it is super easy ;) )

I used to change my own oil in my cars years ago.

but for 30 to 50.00 I would rather have my mechanic friend I trust, do it.

He is very good at it, he has all the proper tools, experience and time to do it. He also may notice something I would miss.
I have learned to spend my time on other things like making sheaths and coming up with new styles and cool things for my customers.
which I am very good at, have the tools, experience and time to do.

But mostly importantly I have him change my oil and fix my cars to support a friend that feeds his family with what he is skilled at rather than save a few bucks.

but that is me.

Please e-mail and I can fix you up my friend.

You come highly recommend from what I've read, and seen with my own eyes... Looks like great work and for these knives I want them secure and good to go for a lifetime... I have ordered some kydex holsters in the past and some have been great and some where not so great... I'm gonna error on the side of caution here and shoot for quality... You will be receiving my order soon... Thank you for reaching out personally, it really does add a touch of class to your service🙏
