Bought it some time ago, sharpened, stripped, and put a patina on it but never got around to using it. Edge is in perfect condition; no dings, chips, rolls, or any other damage for that matter. The patina really brings out the hamon, so that's the line you'll see that runs parallel to the edge in the pics. When I stripped it, I only stripped the blade and left the coating around the handle.
