Hi. Do you have more photos of the Mud Mutt? I think I see a gash in the handle on the left side toward the tip. I also believe that Mud Mutt knife is actually a Scrapyard Scrapper 5, BTW.
 
Maybe you're right. I think it was listed as a mud mutt here on the forum when I purchased it a couple months back.

I think the lighting makes it look worse than it is. It's not like there's a chunk gouged out but I get it if it's an issue for you. It's a great knife and I don't think your hand or grip would notice it while using the knife. It's definitely a user but I haven't really used it.

And looks like you are correct on the name. Updated.
