I don't get it. I've gone to the Swamp Rat knife works.com site, but I cannot see any links to check out their products. Am I in the wrong spot? Is there another web site you go to so that you can view and purchase their products?
Do you have to be a dealer? All I see is 3 links...Contact us, Rat Chat and Recommend us to your friends.

I'd like to maybe buy one of their knives, but am lost as to how!

Thanks

You will see that the Mini Mojo and Little Mischief are both in stock (at the moment). The supply isn't infinite and there are times when Swamprat has no knives in stock. Eric always sees to re-supply...

I noticed the same thing once and gave up.

Yeah it can be frustrating. I waited about 6 months for the new Howler to come out but it was worth it IMO.

I thought the same thing - - couldn't tell what they exactly had for sale, if anything. Little explanation on their website of models, availability, or how they offer their products to buyers. I thought I had to go through too much work to give them my money, - - so moved on.

I just ordered a Howling Rat LM to find out what they are all about. I have no idea when to expect it though.

Yeah, the general lack of knives and information on SRKW's site is what caused me to pass them up back when I was looking for a knife for wilderness purposes. I ultimately ended up with a Chris Reeves Mountaineer II. I found purchasing a Chris Reeves knife to be somewhat frustrating, because at the time it was hard to find them in stock anywhere, but you could at least figure out what knives they make and what their specs are from their website.

I'm sure the quality of the SRKW's knives are top quality. They sure do have a good reputation. But man oh man does that company ever need to hire a marketing guy.

Its pretty simple really, you go to their website, click on the picture of the knife,if it says its in stock you can order it,if not in stock you cant.I'm sure they wont miss your money, and i dont mind going through "all that work" to order the great product that is a Swamp Rat knife. You move on,more for me.

probably not long. no more than two weeks i would think. if they are in stock they ship very quickly.

Good news indeed. I waited too long last time around to pull the trigger, wasn't going to sit on the fence for this round of H Rats.

since they were available at the rat store, they have already been produced. i would think you should have it within a week of ordering.

No kidding, and scrap yard must use the same web site designer. I have been on their website several times and still havn't been able to tell what knives are available.

I would like to get a Swamp Rat 6....I think that's what it's called. But finding one is sure turning into a challenge. It's like trying to get a Busse... very difficult. I guess they only make so many before cooling off for awhile.

Uh...right. You go to the store site and click on a knife pic then......nothing. When you go to "place an order", then you get info. This is counter intuitive to 99% of first time site browsers. Why would you place an order on an item that you have no information on? If they feel that losing orders isn't an issue to them, fine. Atleast we all brought this observation to their attention.
