Only chopped one tree with it, just for shits and giggles. Cleaned up nice, no damage to the blade or finish. I use a hatchet for chopping, hard as that is to believe.

I don't think there is much chance of seeing new M9s any time soon. Maybe another 8-10 years.

I'm hoping your wrong ya never know what they have up their sleeves at shows and ganzaa's maybe I'll get lucky at my first bladeshow this year.

But then again I'm a bit of an optimist. If all else fails I'll just keep bugging the custom shop and pray for a blank.

Chops real good, only once used for that though. The sheath was one I bought from knifecenter.
