Swamp Rat or Khukuri?

Which do you think would go better in a BOB, my Swamp Rat Battle Rat or my Himalayan Imports BAS khukuri?
 
I'm not familiar with your Battle Rat, but I'm partial to the Khuk anyway. I couldn't make up my mind, so I decided to keep both my khuk and my Becker in the kit.

The Battle Rat is similar in design to the Busse Battle Mistress and loosely like the Becker.

What made you keep both despite the added weight?

Actually, the Becker rides in our trucks kit, which is part of our BOB and the Khuk lives in my pack. That way if we're away from the house when we need to boogie, we have the needed equipment with us.
 
Unfortunately, not an H.I., I couldn't afford one, but it's worked out well so far. When I bought it I was told that it was a scaled down WWII and it actually falls in between the Service No1 and the WWII as far as size and weight.
