SP, how did you sharpen the R3? Seems to have mirror edge...

Convex edge on a belt sander. I finish it off with a leather belt and green rouge (power stropped). It IS mirror finished...

Man, use it in good health. I REALLY do love mine.

That's awesome! Mine has seen some use since those pics, but has been down in AZ with Al getting a sheath the past few weeks. Just got it back last week, and it is showing more and more patina from use. I love the size of this knife! :thumbup:

Very nice!! I Just put a new wrap on my KDSH last night. Nothing fancy just a basic wrap similar to yours, but with like 3 layers of Pcord to give it a fatter grip and less shock absorption when chopping with it

Yep, OilMan has it right, its a NMFSH. Original specs are
