Hate to part with this nice setup. Basically a catch and release as I need to fund something else.
Ratmandeux Proto 1 of 13. Moss blade, black paper micarta handles.
6" blade from handle, ~5 3/8" edge length. 11 3/8" overall length. 0.1700" thick- will be a great slicer. (For comparison the Ratmandu is 5 1/8" from handle, 4 3/8" edge, and 10 1/4" overall length).
In my opinion, these come about as close to the original Busse Satin Jack as you can get. The color on this one is very nice- the moss color really sets off the black paper handles well. The handles are a nice deep black all the way through.
Super top notch Rainwalker leather sheath included. Brownish in color and nicely tooled. If you have not owned one of his sheaths yet, you are really missing out. This is a perfect sized blade for a walk in the woods, backpacking, or a camp knife. If she doesn't sell, she will be put to use very soon.
MINT. Never used, carried, or re-sharpened. Asking a little less than I paid as I need the cash, not interested in any trades.
