I’m sure I’m over blowing it but I guess it’s my ocd. I am in Oklahoma Tulsa area where the heat index has been over 110 for like a whole month. Also humidity runs about 90% here also. It’s honestly not that bad at all and it’s just a little patina spot, not even going to worry about it.

Here is one of my favorite SR101 users that has been through a lot. Vinegar patina which works well.
It has it's own character. A wonderful knife, super sharp too. Just love it.

My most used RMD....was a stripper when I got it and have just used it (meat and vegetables give it the most charm) and not bothered with trying to force anything.

yeah id avoid carbon steels like sr101 if you cant stand rust spots/stains

Aebl is stainless and CPK 3V is very corrosion resistant due to the HT tweaks, so im sure compared to those 2 sr101 wont compare in terms of corrosion resistance

I get my sr-101 knives wet a lot. Just dry off when I get home. Never been a big issue. I would also bet the salty greasy water had more to do with it than if it was just normal water.
