hey guys,
nope, it's not a strange cajun blues band, just two latest knives I did.
blades are forged in 0.7C carbon steel (equivalent to1070), tempered to about 58-59Hrc.
hand forged by finn Antti Makinen.
4" x 0.2" x 0.8"
handles are made from ebony with brass bolsters, tangs peened over countersunk deer antler cylinders.
handles are about 4.7inches long.
everything you see is hand shaped, carved, textured, polished and patinated.
soft belly's guard is sculpted from a single piece of brass.
inlays on swamp stalker are deer antler (so is the white insert behind the bolster, stabilized colored deer antler).
sheaths are wet formed in 5/32inch thick vegetable tanned leather and impregnated with beeswax. knives snap into place.
knives are light and comfortable in hand with curvaceous handles.
