Swapping out stock bearings on an iMamba

Hi. The steel tracks (tungsten plates) are necessary for the knife to function. If the spring tensions is strong the washers will not be as effective as the bearings. Having a weaker spring tension will make the knife smoother but it also weakens the lock which is not ideal. We always go for the stronger lock. What serial number do you have?

That is good to know. I'll keep it on bearings (as I love the action) unless I'm taking it to an environment where washers are better, such as hunting.

It's 24-370, so it has the skeletonized fuller and better detent.
