Looking for a nice swayback, who makes a nice one?
Now I've been around since all there was to get were slipjoints, but I'm not up on them now.
Thanks

Case makes an excellent swayback, either single or two blade. A slightly larger one is one of the Italian made, like Viper. GEC just finished a run of their swayback, but the odds of getting one of those is slim, unless you are willing to pay $300 or so, depending on which flipper you go with. Rough Rider chinese knives used to make one, but I don't know if they still do.

Rough Rider swayback with sheepfoot and pen blades. Really nice imho, although I did redo the jigging on this one.

Very nice Viper with a wharncliffe, this one is the 2020 forum knife.

These Rough Rider work knives are nice, however many are experiencing bad handle slabd on the black ones including me, they're shrinking :(
Though I've not seen anyone say that of the blue denim micarta ones.

I’ve got some GEC and the forum Knife from last year, I think the case Bose black canvas swayback looks amazing. A few have popped up on the exchange lately but they go quick. Posts are no fun without photos so here’s a size comparison on gec 93, 47, and the viper. All three are great, the viper maybe a touch better because it’s the BF knife lol.

Can anyone tell me if the viper sway back is particularly thin behind the edge? It’s a beaut, but I worry that it’s ground like a modern.

Going by a super scientific “feel test” I don’t notice a difference between the viper and gec 47 viper, @knifeswapper would be the go to for blade specifics if they aren’t avail on the viper website (I haven’t checked).
