I'm hesitant to let this go as these are hard to track down, but I am in need of some backpacking gear and need the funds. This is as new, unused (though the sheath shows some very minor wear marks) the knife is pristine. Bubinga wood scales with black liners, O1 steel. This is the exact knife that he makes for Ray Mears now, though without the Mears logo. Took it on one hike and only took pics of it. Will let it go for slightly less than I picked it up for, $400 shipped in the US.

Flap leather sheath with fire steel loop

The snap shows the only real sign of wear

Alan Wood makes the Woodlore for Ray Mears, unless Ray has jumped ship and is now having Stephen Wade Cox make his knives.

Alan Wood still makes the Woodlore, but has suspended orders due to the 10 year back log. Ray commisioned Steven Cox to make a more readily available version.
