Sweatpants (or similiar), what do you carry?

I do wear sweatpants pretty often, and I have found that the only real issue is about weight/size of the knife. I do carry all my blades in deep pocket carry (take off any clip when I buy them), and with sweatpants the only difference I find is that a "big" knife will tend to be bulky and uncomfy way more than the same knife would be if I was wearing jeans.
So usually, when in sweatpants/gym shorts and similar, I wear one of my SAK (Tinker usually) or my Half Ton. These don't hassle me at all.
Another option would be wearing a sporty small waistpack, like these:

I have a couple of the kind (mines are a bit smaller) and they are nice and comfy enough and they are fine with sweatpants and so on.

Since you are no longer looking for advise I'm a little curious what information you were looking for in this thread? Just to know if people carry knives while wearing sweatpants? What model knife people carry in sweats? Something else?

I carry a kershaw leek, nice and light and it has a lock to keep the blade closed if your worried about that

Just got back from a run in windbreaker style pants, with an SE tasman salt clipped to my right front pocket, but clipped on the higher part, towards where my thumb would be if I reached in, seems to bounce around a lot less there when you're jumping around. Highly recommend linerless frn handled lockbacks for this sort of thing.

I know you said you got all the info you needed, but I remember searching this when I was new and its always helpful to have more suggestions. Let us know what you decide on!

I like to carry a bayonet-clip folder when I don't have a pair of belt loop pants on. It sits very low in the pocket, and can be easily accessed.

I wear sweatpants or basketball shorts just about every day and my favorate knife to cary with them is the mini grip. The blade retains great and have never had it come open in my pocket. Also one thing i have found is when i have a knife with flow through construction it keeps cleaner but also gets coins caught in between the blade a sidewalls of the knife and this never happens with the grip and has changed my preferences on flow through vs. non flow through construction.

The biggest question for what to carry is: where do you live? Many choices will be out of question depending on the legality of knives in your state and town.

Last fall when I was in the bush , I forgot my sweatpants. I never wear them around camp or in the bush really , but where they really shine is going to bed , especially on cooler nights. I wasn't about to wear my dirty, sappy bushpants in my sleeping bag , so just having my gitch on really sucked.

I jog in athletica shorts and I carry my ffg endura cliped inside my wastband along with a hand towl I just tighten the drawstring and have no problems. My kershaw ace works good to but can slide out of the pocket while sitting.

You could always wear a fixed blade on a utility belt. Wear a fixed blade from the utility belt. When people laugh, casually motion to knife.

And here I thought having a knife on me was a bit cumbersome when working out. I gotta ask, why the trowel? Emergency entrenching tool? Small sheild/bullet deflector? :D Definitely thought provoking.

You never know when you will run in to emergency masonry repair. You could keep your trowel on your utility belt next to your fixed blade knife. Then nobody would laugh, you would just look like a repair man.

Curiosity and sharing of information. Doesn't hurt anyone.
I could have made another "is sebenza worth it thread", take it easy.

I believe he meant towel. for wiping off sweat?

and i usually carry the gerber fast, it's light, the clip lets it sit deep in the pocket or waistband
I don't intend on using it when i run, i generally run in the suburbs so it's adequate for my needs.
