Sweaty pockets???

Thank you for all your replies.

I carried a Sandvik 14C28N Blur for a while with no issues, but it was coated. I just got a Manix 2 XL S30V that I am planning to EDC.

These St. Louis summers are hot and humid. I sweat through my mailman shorts before 9am!! :(

Wearing a dark polyester uniform over body armor makes for a mostly miserable day in the heat. That said, I also sweat a lot in the heat...and I'm in and out of A/C and the rain as well.

I use WD40 on my blades, firearms, magazines, handcuffs, keys and pretty much anything metal. It's an every-other-day regimen for me because my gear has to work at all times.

I sweat like a pig in the humid summer. Aside from wiping down the knife, i buy some cheap iron on patches from Walmart. They are the "duck" fabric ones. Take my pants/shorts and turn them inside out. Pull out the pocket the knife is clipped into, trim a patch to the correct size, remove knife, iron on patch, done. I have yet to see any moisture on my knives where I've done this, even when my shorts were literally soaked with sweat. Sorry that's really gross, but it's s fast, cheap fix. And it works!
